A Solar Energy Seminar
Minneapolis, MN, September 9, 2011 – Applied Energy Innovations (AEI) Solar Thermal Project Manager Tim Pendergast in taking a road trip, to Iowa. Mr. Pendergast will spend the evening at Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) Calmar Campus on September 13 sharing his vast knowledge and experience.
From the course description, "delve into Solar Thermal Technology with an industry expert. Starting with the history, this class will go over major components, the economics, what works best and where, and a look into the future. This one day workshop is designed for electricians, construction workers, contractors and people wanting to expand their knowledge in the Solar Energy industry."
Pendergast is one of a few NABCEP (North
American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) solar thermal accredited
installers in Minnesota. Tim brings with him a resume unparallel in solar
installations and experience. Tim is a graduate
of the Red Wing Technical Institute’s: ‘Energy Engineering Technology’ and certificate holder of ‘Commercial/Residential Auditing’. Tim has extensive experience in
CAD design and will incorporate conceptual projects to concrete functionality
as AEI continues to grow. Among Tim’s
highlights:
• Supervised, installed, and serviced over 8,000 square feet of Solar-Thermal panels and systems.

Supervised and installed over 340 kWatts of
Photovoltaic panels and systems (including 4 pole mounted trackers.)
•
NABCEP Solar Thermal Certification (North
American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners)
